The pavilion and RV hookups were just fine as usual. Our family rents this space very year and it always seems to serve guys very well. The bathrooms nearby could have been cleaner. The light is low inside the bathrooms and the smell is not desirable. But we appreciate the Heyburn Park Pavilion every year as the venue for our family reunion. The Corps of Engineers Ranger that came by was very friendly and accommodating. Thank You all for another good experience.

This was a great location off the main thorough fare. I enjoyed this location and have recommended it to friends and family. The park was in a great location with views of the lake from all around. There was no attendant on duty at the main gate so that made it a little hard for me to navigate to my spot. I think there needs to be a giant park map posted upon the entrance so that one can navigate the park better. I had to drive around twice before finding my spot. I enjoyed driving around as it gave me a chance to see all the excited campers again.

The park itself was nice. Campsites were well spaced for decent privacy. However, we were here on the weekend and the place (campground specifically) was a nut house! There were anywhere from 3-5 cars at most campsites and people overcrowding the campsites. Most campgrounds don’t allow more than 2 cars per site to help prevent this issue. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. We had vehicle issues and ended up having to stay 3 extra days while it got fixed. In the 4 days we were there the bathrooms didn’t get cleaned one single time. The trash got emptied and the toilet paper got refilled but that was it. There was poop on floor directly in front of the toilet in the women’s shower house on day 1 of our 4 days stay and it was still there when we left. This park has so much potential to be a great stay but the bathrooms need daily attention ans there really needs to be a limit on cars/people per campsite. Fix those issues and it would’ve been a 4+ star rating easy!

We've camped here for years and were surprised to see there is not a gate attendant this season. All reservations are online, which works fine for us. We weren't sure who to talk to when we had an issue at our reserved site. The people in the campsite next to us had setup their tent in our campsite and used our water. I've never experienced anything like it. I feel like a gate attendant or park host should have been more available to address issues like this. Overall, the park is great. It is generally quiet and there is a great swim beach.

Turn left onto S 273rd W Ave and take a slight right following the asphalt road to continue on S 273rd W Ave. Continue onto S 273rd W Ave road for about 3 mi and turn left onto E0740 Rd/Lake Heyburn Rd. Heyburn Park is 0.5 on the right.
Option 2: Exit 203, exiting towards Kellyville. Take Exit 203 and turn right onto OK-66 crossing over the turnpike bridge. Turn right onto S 273rd W Ave and take a slight right following the asphalt road to continue on S 273rd W Ave. Continue onto S 273rd W Ave road for about 3 mi and turn left onto E0740 Rd/Lake Heyburn Rd. Heyburn Park is 0.5 on the right.
Guests may also follow OK-66 to go through Kellyville for gas.

Turn right onto E0740 Rd between the Dollar General store and Simple Simon's Pizza. Follow E0740 Rd for 5.5 mi and turn right onto S 257th W Ave. Take a slight left onto Heyburn Lake Rd and follow this road for 2 mi passing the dam and the Corps Office. Heyburn Park is on the right.
Option 2: Exit 203, exiting towards Kellyville. Turn right onto OK-66. About .4 mi, turn left onto S 273rd W Ave and take a slight right following the asphalt road to continue on S 273rd W Ave. Continue onto S 273rd W Ave road for about 3 mi and turn left onto E0740 Rd/Lake Heyburn Rd. Heyburn Park is 0.5 on the right.
Coming from Mannford or Keystone Lake. Going west on HWY OK-51, turn left onto State HWY 48. Stay for HWY 48 until you approach a 4 way intersection across from Phillips 66 gas station. Turn left onto OK-33 E. Follow OK-33 for about 15 mi and turn right onto S 241st W Ave (there is no sign indicating the lake but there is a white church on the left side of the highway across the turn). Follow this road for 5.5 mi until you reach road W 151st St S. Google will direct you to take a right on W 141st St S which is a gravel road and inclines at the top (not recommended for large trailers). Go past the gravel road and continue onto the asphalt road and turn right on W 151st St S and follow this road until you reach a 4 way intersection. Turn right onto S 257th W Ave. Take a slight left onto Heyburn Lake Rd and follow this road for 2 mi passing the dam and the Corps Office. Heyburn Park is on the right.
