Nice quiet place. We just stayed overnight but would consider staying longer if in the area again.

We brought bikes and hiking boots neither of which we any use. If you don't have a kayak of horses don't bother with Shepard Point. So, you think oh well we're here let's enjoy some peace and quiet. Not to be, with chainsaws and weed eaters and the host's dog barking, peace and quiet was not happening.

Originally reserved a spot early in the year but as May is in Oklahoma we had huge rain just before the weekend. We went up to the front guest host and told him it was pretty soggy and asked if he had another spot we could move to. He quickly came up with 3 other spots and asked us to check them out. They were all perfect and we choose another and he very graciously made all the changes on the computer. Perfect weekend with perfect hosts!! Always the best!!
