What Guests Are Saying
Alsea Falls Recreation Site is a beautiful, well-maintained campground that offers spacious, private campsites and easy access to scenic hiking trails, including a lovely trek to Alsea Falls. Reviewers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and the charming, rainforest setting. While some noted minor issues with bathroom maintenance and road noise, overall, the campground is highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in nature.

The first time I drove through there a few years ago, it looked pretty ratty. The next time I drove through it was packed. The camping spaces are big but the driveway spaces are pretty small. This time when I stayed, the grounds were in good shape and it wasn't all that crowded. It was really nice.

Smells horrific, no privacy and no firepit access.

We loved the walk-in site. It was quiet and close to the creek and really close to the waterfall. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Beautiful campground. Sites are large and private. Flush toilets would be great but out toilets are fine. Great hiking adjacent to the campground.

Make sure you pay attention to whether you are reserving a tent site or a campground site. They are both numbered but they are distinctly different reservations both physically and cost wise.

Would have got the highest rating if we had not been without water for 3 days! I believe we are entitled to a parcial refund!
