The tent sites are nice and they are not a very long walk from the car.

First, I appreciated the host, John. He was available and helpful.
The sites are nicely spaced for privacy, clean. One bathroom was overly well used (no flush!) but a second bathroom on the back loop was cleaner, less used. Alsea Falls was a short walk. One could walk the loop across the creek, back to the campground, only about a mile. Beautiful trail.

The first time I drove through there a few years ago, it looked pretty ratty. The next time I drove through it was packed. The camping spaces are big but the driveway spaces are pretty small. This time when I stayed, the grounds were in good shape and it wasn't all that crowded. It was really nice.
