What Guests Are Saying
Black Canyon Campground offers a beautiful setting beside a glacier-fed river, providing a cool swimming area during hot summer days. The campground is well-maintained, with clean facilities and friendly hosts, ensuring a pleasant experience. However, visitors should be aware of the nearby train and highway noise, which can be disruptive at times, especially at night.

So beautiful there. A bit of road noise and a train goes by, but the beauty and cleanliness makes it all worth it. We will definitely be going there more often. Cleanest vault toilets/bathrooms we’ve ever seen.

Highway and train were noisier than we prefer. Toilets were clean and nearly smell free but did run out of toilet paper once during the weekend. Host was friendly when we sought him out with a question but seemed to not remember us when we saw him again 30 minutes later. There's a fairly short river float (about 1 hour 10 minutes) to the next campground but make sure you can handle true rapids.
