What Guests Are Saying
Black Canyon Campground offers a beautiful setting beside a glacier-fed river, providing a cool swimming area during hot summer days. The campground is well-maintained, with clean facilities and friendly hosts, ensuring a pleasant experience. However, visitors should be aware of the nearby train and highway noise, which can be disruptive at times, especially at night.

Clean bathrooms and sites. The site we were in were extremely close to the highway and it was very loud. At 8pm the first day of our stay we asked the host if we could transfer sites as the place was virtually empty and were were somewhat politely denied stating someone could come but none of the sites we saw were reserved and she even claimed there were a lot of cancellations but sited the hosts don’t have access to the website. She advised to go to the website and pay for an additional site(double what we paid essentially. Sure enough no additional guests showed up all weekend. Lastly, the tent sites are heavily graveled making it virtually impossible to pound in and retain stakes, which my tent required for the rain fly. Really disappointed.

This campground is very well cared for. It has clean campsites and restrooms. The roads are very narrow though and it makes it difficult to back a trailer into a site. The site we had was also very narrow which meant we couldn't open our awning all the way and had difficulty walking from the trailer to the picnic area. I doubt that we will go back to this campground.

Great hosts, very clean campground as well as restrooms. Right highway 58, so traffic could be loud at times, but that is to be expected.

We camp there every year. Beautiful setting, water and very clean restrooms. For us it’s close to home and easy to get to. We love it there!

The campground itself was nice. The host did a very poor job at keeping the campsites updated with reservations and as such one never could figure out if a campsite was reserved or not.
