Camping at Trapper Creek is always a good time. Great campground and boat ramp, nice camping sites. Fairly decent areas to beach a boat.
The only downside is how over grown the brush is. You used to have a good view of the lake now you can't see it. Pulling into the campground limbs are hanging out in the road just needs a little bit of landscape maintenance but overall it was good a good weekend.

Lady ranger/park person was super helpful, and also alerted me of a fire up near The Dalles where I had told her I was headed next. Extremely clean bathroom, friendly people, loved it!!!

Beautiful area, quiet except for the 6 kids near us. Campground needs a lot of maintenance—badly needed road repairs (large potholes), cleaning off bridges, restrooms out of TP, our picnic table was covered with needles and leaves. No Forest Service staff check in (drive around the park). Some people noisy after 10pm. Our campsite was nice, close to the lake.

Honestly, the campground felt a little unprepared. There was no camp host. The dumpster that serves the campground was overturned. I had a great time, but the site has looked better in recent years.

Beautiful site on the lake. Very quiet this time of the year. Running water would have made it absolutely perfect.
Also, the boat ramp is difficult to access with a long RV.
