What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

Awesome campground. We felt secluded even though the camp sites aren't too far apart. Pros: Great hosts, clean amenities, close to the beach, close to town, close to the best hikes on the Oregon Coast, quiet, friendly people. Cons: No showers. We would have stayed longer than 2 nights, but the smell was getting real.

Reserved a spot with electric hookup and stayed 2 nights. Excellent customer service by the managers. Make sure to bring cash for firewood and extra parking passes as you can’t pay those fees digitally through recreation.gov via modifying your reservation. Also note, there is no RV dump on site. I was able to use the Port of Siuslaw though for a meager $5. The campground is minutes from Yachats and Florence; made for an excellent weekend getaway!

Our campsite was private and very quiet. We love that some of the sites have electricity.

very nice older campground, meaning the spaces have more separation and privacy. Very nice trails and everything was well taken care of considering the virus closures/restrictions recently.
