What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

The hosts were awesome and I appreciated the privacy in my camping spot. I wish there had been more sink water drains throughout the campground though. I didn't find one in loop A so had to drive to loop B a number of times.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed hiking on both the North and South Sutton Creek trails and walking to the Holman Vista area. The campsite was very shady, especially at this time of year, so we enjoyed having a site with an electrical hook-up so we could use our lights. The bathrooms were very clean. A great experience for winter camping.

This was our first time camping at Sutton Campground. It was a nice, clean, and quiet campground. The nature trail was nice – easy and beautiful – but no access to the beach. The site we stayed in (A20) had kind of a backward setup that didn't work well for a trailer but overall a great stay.

The site was bordered by trees which gave us privacy. We also appreciated that the bathroom was very clean for a county park ! We will definitely be back.

We love Sutton for the size of their sites. You are not plastered up against your neighbors.

Too many vehicles next to us, too many people, no enforcement of the rules.
