What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

We had a great time, and would have difficulty coming up with any criticisms of this campsite. The hosts were attentive and talking to us within minutes of arriving. They made sure to verify we were the correct occupants, and were supportive in several other ways. The bathrooms were clean, except for a few spiders (to be expected). I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and only wish they were closer.
I expected there to be beach access or within a short walking distance based on reviews and Google Maps, but this was not a correct expectation. The beach was just a few minutes drive away, and that was satisfactory for us.

Very Clean. Site A18 was much larger than expected and fairly isolated from other sites.

Overall it's a very friendly and quiet campground, especially during the week. The spurs are a nice size and many have good privacy. This was my second time at Sutton. I was disappointed with the amount of dog waste everywhere. That's clearly due to campers not taken care of their obligations and their responsibilities. Other than that, I like this campground very much.
