What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

It was a nice site with little view of other campers.

Liked the campsites, lots of vegetation buffering each from others. The new campground hosts were very helpful, and kept the bathrooms squeaky clean.

The campsite was very private. Had some loud kids right up until 10. Running back and forth on the trail yelling and cussing.

I would like to suggest that on the site, when someone is looking with an RV, you put straight out that there are no water hookups. It only says there is electricity, but, since I have never seen a campground that has only electricity without water, I did not realize it, so we didn't bring any.
Also, it is the first time I have seen an electricity charge (which I suppose is just another way other than charging more for an electric site). I also have never seen a lodging tax charged , why is it only you?
The general area and sites are nice, very tree-d. There is no access to beach though, which is too bad, also no showers.

Campground was good, but we were unable fill our water tank with the spigot they have there.
It was nice that they had a list of where we could dump our RV tank for free.

Nice forested campground with hiking trails within campground. Camp hosts were awesome - very helpful with questions about local things and recommended an RV Mobile Tech. Clean bathrooms, sites were in good shape and roads too. Electric Only but water faucets nearby and accessible to all sites within short walking distance. Very quiet and peaceful. Trail to Sutton Lake and beach too. I would camp here again.
