What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, with clean restrooms and attentive hosts. Many visitors appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the accessibility of nearby hiking trails. However, some guests find the pricing a bit high compared to nearby campgrounds with more amenities, and there are concerns about tree maintenance affecting RV access. Overall, the campground is favored for its tranquility and cleanliness, making it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic coastal setting, away from it all but easy access just off Hwy 101 minutes from Sea Lion Caves and Heceta Lighthouse to the north and Florence to the south.

Nice campground; well maintained, with nice sites, most with plenty of privacy - you don't feel too close to your neighbors. Very quiet and relaxing, even though we were there over a long (Memorial Day) holiday weekend.
The camp hosts were great -- friendly and helpful. Overall a great camping experience. Our only complaint is that the "beach trail" never reaches the beach; you can get to the back side of the dunes, but definitely not the beach. Would be great if the trail did reach the beach; otherwise, it's name (and description) is deceiving.

We were scheduled to stay here on 5/7, but when we showed up the place was swarming with mosquitoes so we didn't stay. Sorry, but I don't want to be eaten alive at camp.

We love camping here. They have great sites and we love walks and meeting other campers. Its a great location. But they have new hosts and the bathrooms were dirty. There was poop on the bathroom door, toilets and floor the whole time we were there. I have never experienced that before there. Luckily I had a bathroom in my trailer.

Great campground, the only thing I would recommend is having the camp host more accessible.
