What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

The campsite was perfect adequate (flat, picnic table, accessible water, pretty clean outhouses). The real benefit of this campsite is the amazing location. The lake, with its views of Mt. Hood are incredible. We would have loved to stay longer and rent a kayak. They have a general store (where we also checked in), but just fyi it closed at 7pm.

Absolutely epic! The lake and campground were beautiful and accommodating. Seeing the birds diving for fish and the friendly chipmunk was a real treat. The hosts were personable and helpful. The store had some great merchandise and food. The little grill inside made some grubbing milkshakes. It was a shame that campfires weren't allowed but at least the area was clean and there were plenty of spots to hangout at the lake. Definitely booking again for our next camping trip!

Too many campsites for shoreline. Needs dedicated beach or access to lake. Our campsite was also very small. Very difficult to get truck and camper in spot. Spot D3. Grill was out of food. Water spouts were accessible and enough garbage containers. So few spots along shore people would go extremely early and stake out all the places. Nowhere to go. Not a good experience at all

These comments really are about the bad logistics and not about the lake.
The roadways and lack of good signage make this camp destination very bad for anyone camping with a trailer or large RV. Its a great spot if you traveling in a car and tent camping. If you have a car or truck and camping, there are no issues and nice trails to the lake. This really should be communicated clearer on the website.
We could not use our camp spot with our 17ft trailer, could not turn around, campground had very poor signage and maps, so we left . We went to Trillium lake which worked much, much better. I will say it was Kind of a bummer for the long drive to Lost Lake. We will not return with a trailer.

The campground & facilities were clean. I enjoyed the privacy of my campsite. I couldn’t see or hear nearby campers even though it was full capacity. I enjoyed walking around the lake trail. And what a view of Mt Hood! Incredible!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Our campsite was huge, surrounded by giant trees so there was plenty of shade and privacy. The campground was quiet and very clean. The lake was peaceful and beautiful, amazing view of Mt. Hood from the lake. We loved everything about this trip and will probably make it an annual camping trip!

One of my favorite campgrounds I’ve stayed at, the sites are all very private and the lake is gorgeous
