What Guests Are Saying
Lost Lake Resort and Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with scenic lake views, spacious campsites, and a friendly atmosphere. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, good fishing, and nearby hiking trails, as well as the convenience of on-site amenities like a store and boat rentals. However, the campground can be busy, especially on weekends, leading to noise and crowding issues, and some facilities, like bathrooms, may need more attention. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many returning campers.

Great. Such a beautiful spot. Clean private sites. Plenty of shade. Nice boardwalk for the old growth trail.
Friendly staff and the rowboat rental was super fun. Yay for this lovely lake.

Quiet mid week after Labor Day stay. Was like the old days at the lake… til Thursday night and Friday- the hum of humans echoed across the lake… it was time to leave.

Amazing campground! Most of the sites are pretty big and very private. Our site was D18 which is oddly laid out, it has 1 tent spot, a table area with a picnic table that is definitely worn out and needs replacing, and the firepit is up the hill in its own spot. We were there after Labor Day and i think about 70% of the sites were empty. The hike around the lake is on a very nice trail and takes about 2 hours. Unfortunately we were next to someone who ran their generator all evening. Otherwise, a great spot!

The campground is overrun with yellow jackets. we spent 2 hours trying to find a different campsite that we would be able to manage without success. Didn’t even stay for our reservation

Our space was so narrow we couldn’t get our slide out. Decided to go home and won’t be back. Very limited space to park near boat ramp.

The only issue I had was that my campsite did not have a separate place to park my car, so I felt that my car was in the road.

I didn’t end up staying the night because the smoke was too bad. Love the campground otherwise.

August is a dry month in Oregon. The campsite was clean but lots of dust. The yellow jackets were everywhere because of the time of year. No fires were allowed which was smart because of the critical fire danger. Unfortunately one idiot camper decided the rules didn't apply to him and had a big campfire anyway. There was no ranger or host patrolling. The lake had plenty of water and is scenic but no view of Mt Hood like trillium lake. Be prepared for a long drive no matter which direction you come from..
