We love sunset. We also really appreciated the camp host. Very helpful and they really work hard to keep everything clean especially the restrooms.

It’s peak travel time so it was busy, but the space was clean , bathrooms were clean and the lake was beautiful!

Site 10 Loop A has beautiful views and lots of space. The water was great for swimming and kayaking, lots of people well spaced along the shore. The wind comes up in the afternoon so kayaking can be a bit more challenging. We walked to the Lodge, if you want to eat outside make a reservation! And the bathrooms! Clean, air-conditioned, masks required with hand sanitizer dispensed outside--felt very safe. Such a great break!

The tent site was big and very clean. We rented a canoe the first day with no problems. The second day we rented a fishing boat. Even though we had reserved it, we had to wait close to 45 minutes to get it. Then, the boat broke down two hours into it and we had to be rescued. They didn't offer to refund our money so I made a stink. Then they offered to refund 25%. I told them unacceptable. Finally, the employee made a phone call and came back and said they would refund me 75%. Excellent! Other than that, and the mask Nazis at the General Store, it was an awesome trip. The water was perfect. It was quiet. The people were friendly. Great camp host. Overall it was a great experience. Can't wait to do it again.

Lake of the Woods, and specifically Sunset Campground, is one of the best places to visit in Southern Oregon. The only improvement that I can recommend is to add showers at Sunset. The pay showers at Aspen Point were in sad shape when I visited them.

Campground full but enjoyable. Person cleaning restrooms was not masked per explicit directions posted on restroom door. Yelled at and insulted my physician daughter when confronted with the situation. We carefully quarantined in our campsite and severely restricted even safe contact with friends camped nearby because of my vulnerabilities. Rules are there for a reason and everyone should follow them, especially inside small enclosed buildings.
