Now that so many people bring loud generators and everything including the kitchen sink it might be time to set aside campground loops that are for old school camping with no generators allowed.

Great camp host who helped us shuffle around to get an extra night. Exceptionally clean bathrooms too.

The forest service guy Art is mean. He accused us of tearing up the dirt with our tires. The tire marks where there before we were and looked to be done by whoever cleans up the campsite and trees. NO HOT WATER in the bathrooms, not even for washing hands. This is horrible and not sanitary!!!

My family has been camping g at Lake of the Woods for almost 50 years now. It’s our favorite lake in Southern Oregon with stunning views and friendly campers. Be sure to make a reservation 6 months in advance. There are only a few first-come-first serve sites in Aspen and Sunset campgrounds.

My son and I are both disabled so we just go for the relaxation. This last time there were alot of loud dogs and the group next to us had a dog that was off leash.

Our group had a wonderful time. The camp hosts were very attentive and informative, while also making us feel quite welcomed! We were present for the 4th of July festivities, and whoever decided to move the fireworks to the center of the lake deserves major kudos. We were able to watch from the shore line and all of us had an amazing view. Great experience as always!

Pros: on-site staff were diligent and kind, bathrooms were always stocked and cleaned, the view on the lake was beautiful
Cons: The campgrounds were too close together, everyone was pretty much on top of each other and walking through each other's campsites constantly. Quiet hours were not enforced, myself and my partner were constantly woken by screaming kids, drunken arguments, and loud music.
We were so sleep deprived we couldn't enjoy ourselves, and threw everything into our car on the final day to go home. Probably won't be back to this specific campground.
