Camp hosts were amazing!!! Bathrooms very clean at all times. Very peaceful, quiet campground. If you want more action, walk, bike, paddle or boat over to the lodge/marina area.

It's a lovely campground in a gorgeous location. Unfortunately many people don't have respect for their neighbors in the campground. I guess I haven't camped that much the last few years, but I was very disappointed by the sheer number of sites operating loud generators much of the day. It would be nice if the campground didn't allow the use of generators. Those that need to bring a single wide on wheels and generate electricity to have a house in a campground tend to ruin it for everyone camping for the peace and sounds of nature. If you're going to drag your home up with you and watch TV, why go camping? I miss the old days. Campground staff here are great, the property is nice, the lake is gorgeous... if only all the campers had some class and conscientiousness.

Lake was beautiful but this was the least peaceful place I have ever camped. There is a nearby resort that blasted crappy dance music for hours on end, the people next to me ran their generator for many hours at night and in the morning. There were screaming kids everywhere. I booked a site near the water but a group had "claimed" the spot on the shore as their own leaving all their chairs, floaties etc. by the water the entire time so no one else could use that spot. They let their many children run back and forth through the middle of my site constantly. I heard people having drunken fights at night. The facilities were clean and the hosts were nice but this place was not my scene at all. I left an entire day early even though I already payed because it was not at all relaxing.

The setting was so beautiful and serene until some campers pulled in next door and started playing their old rock-n-roll music so loudly that we had to listen to that instead of the wildlife. As I was loading up to check out, I was harassed by a man who wanted to take the camp sight an hour earlier than check in time, which is 2:00. He was upset that I wasn't out of the sight by 1:00. Admittedly I was running a few minutes late but was hooking up my trailer and trying to leave. The humans were the only thing that ruined our experience.

Sunset campground is my happy place. Always have a nice time, even in the rain. Pizza at the marina is a must, best pizza in the world. A little disappointed that the bathrooms were not as clean or stocked as they normally are.

We enjoyed meeting your camp hosts (Joseph and Hazel), they were very helpful and kept the bathrooms very clean. Cleaner than I have ever seen. Really great atmosphere, camping, fishing, hiking (walking) and all the other campers and all their crazy dogs (most of the dogs were on a leash).
Lots of people and lots of dogs. Did I mention there are many dogs?
We will be back, we had a great experience!
