The campground is clean, the lakeshore is gorgeous, and the bathrooms are pretty well maintained/stocked. There is a pretty intense issue with yellow jackets, but that's not really fault of the people running the campsites - it's the outdoors! Campers definitely let their dogs run. And bark. But overall the staff was really nice. Not my favorite campground just for camping, but would be well worthwhile if you plan on getting out on the lake.

I was very upset to get there and find out that we weren't allowed to have a campfire. It's a good thing we had a small propane stove with us. It would have been nice if the website had warned us before we got there, because if I had known I probably would have canceled the reservation. I don't understand why we couldn't have a small contained fire in their designated fire pits. That's my favorite part of camping. Also the people next to us had a dog that got loose and came to our side and started growling at us. It would be a lot nicer place without barking and aggressive dogs.

The campsite was quiet and clean. Music at the Resort on Sat night. Had a Reuban and hamburger there and both were very good. Love the walk from the campground to the resort.

Great spot! Loop A is great and right near the lake. Camping spots are huge and bathrooms are super nice. The only downside was that the spots are not very private as trees are somewhat sparse and sound travels well.

I love Lake of the Woods and twice this summer I have been able to pick up camp spots at the last minute. I appreciate some people can plan months in advance, but we were able to go with young children and the lake was like glass. What a magical place.

It was surprisingly quite. The weather was amazing, not too hot. The view from the beach was beautiful and breathtaking along with the sunset every evening. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time.

Camping with no option of cooking on briquets in a safe off ground grill, makes camping only for rich people with RVs and propane grills.

One of our favorite campgrounds in Oregon. Would have been a 10 star but couldn't have campfire.

With the exception of the busy and unsafe boat activity we experienced on the weekend we had a lovely time. This is the campground that we came to year after year with our kids and friends but it's been 8 or so years. Seems that Sunset has been discovered and we did have some sadness around that. Most people were respectful as we had 2 little ones with us but a beach full of motorboats, loud music & heavy drinking was a reminder that we need to book our time during the week in the future. The campground was well cared for & quiet considering how many people were there
