What Guests Are Saying
Horsfall Beach is praised for its great location right next to the beach, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. While there are some issues with noise from day users and off-road vehicles, many visitors enjoyed the scenic environment and overall experience. The campground is well-maintained, though some campers noted issues with site assignments and the need for better management of noise and parking.

Beautiful site! Fun to find your way to. Amazing place to watch the sunset. Feel really lucky to have gotten a spot when we did. Clears out when the day use time is up. I wouldn't avoid this site b/c of the OHVs, but just wanted to make sure most people know that this is a preferred site for those with OHVs. We weren't aware. Not a big deal.

Of all the years we've been camping at Horsfall Beach, it looked very clean and the area was mowed and clean parking lot.

We stayed six nights and six days and loved our experience. It was my first time visiting Oregon and my first time seeing the Pacific ocean and feeling its refreshing touch. We had three bright sunny days (great for solar charging) and two with rain and fog that totally surrounded us. Given that our stay was in late October and early November we felt the parking lot was lightly used by OHV enthusiasts, a few motorcyclists and folks who chose to drive their cars or trucks out onto the beach or in the Dunes. On two separate days we were asked to help rescue pickup trucks that got stuck on the beach with the tide coming in. They owners had to pay $750 to have a professional beach wrecker-tow truck come pull them out. Ouch! Everyday there were many vehicles that visited with folks who came to walk their dogs, take a hike, go fishing or surfing or biking. The rangers and camp hosts were all very courteous, friendly and informative.

Perfect spot for spending a few days riding the sand dunes. Camp sites had a bit of trash, and fire pits were full of ashes.

It’s just a huge asphalt parking lot. Big rigs with their nosy OHVs….clean bathrooms
Behind the dunes beautiful ocean and quiet. In distance sounds of OHVs….
