The hosts at the campground were fantastic and did everything in their power to keep the grounds clean and bathroom\showers functioning. The problem is the Forest Service seems like they could care less about keeping the bathrooms and showers working. We stayed for a week and a half and there was never a single time all the toilets and showers functioned. The last 6 days we couldn't shower at all because the shower token machine was broken and despite multiple Forest Service maintenance personal showing up it was "not their responsibility" to fix. The campground is overpriced for non-functioning bathroom\shower facilities and when they are the showers are working they can only be used from 6AM-10AM and 6PM-10PM. There's better campground options for the southern dunes with operators that care.

The camp host Carter and Donna were excellent hosts and made my camping experience great. They went above and beyond for assistance. We really appreciate good hosts. Thanks

Our camp host was phenomenal, we could not have asked for a more helpful or welcoming person. The camp was clean and well taken care of. The only downside we experienced was the theft in the area. We had a brand new motorcycle stolen from camp. While there isn't anything the host could have done I would hope that with the insane rate of thefts in the campsite there would be increased patrols to assist with prevention.

We have been staying at horsefall campground for 5 years. This year was the worst year due to the theft that is happening. The camp host introduced himself and the first sentence was lock up everything you have because people have been coming into camp at night stealing things. The bathrooms and showers were kept clean as usual they always done a good job considering anyone traveling by can use them.

We had an awesome stay and will return again. The host Carter was amazing and checked everyone in as they arrived and was very helpful across the board.
