Small parking spaces- very close together. I ended up purchasing 3 spaces for myself for the days available and we left two days early since by Friday afternoon it was a zoo with people and equipment packed on like sardines. Very loud and noisy( that was expected) no showers- clean bathrooms.

The restrooms were clean and nice to have open. The camp host was awesome as always !!! My only suggestion is to have some type of drainage for site #19 because when it does rain the site floods and is not a good thing.

Love this campground. The only bummer was the showers were closed because of covid....not sure why since you would think they would want people to stay clean. Would recommend this campground to people that ride at the dunes since dune access is right off the campground.

Had a great experience! The campground is spreadapart so you don't feel like
your right next to someone! Restrooms were clean and every morning the camp host was out checking on the campground!

From Reedsport, Oregon, follow Highway 101 south for about 22 miles to the Horsfall Dunes and Beach road sign. Turn right onto Trans Pacific Lane and proceed for 1.1 miles to the intersection with Horsfall Beach Road. Turn right onto Horsfall Beach Road and proceed for 0.5 miles. At 0.5 miles, the entrance to the campground and day use area will be on the right.
From North Bend, Oregon, follow Highway 101 north for about 2 miles to the Horsfall Dunes and Beach road sign. Turn left onto Trans Pacific Lane and proceed for 1.1 miles to the intersection with Horsfall Beach Road. Turn right onto Horsfall Beach Road and proceed for 0.5 miles. Horsfall Sand Camping site is accessible via Highway 101, which is located approximately 22 miles from Reedsport to the south and about 2 miles to the north.

Arrival & departure
- Campsites in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area can only be reserved online or by phone through recreation.gov.
- Campsites must be occupied within 24 hours of arrival; otherwise, they will be released.
- For additional information, refer to the provided link about the Siuslaw National Forest.
Safety & rules
- Dune riders should be aware of safety hazards and follow riding safety tips to reduce incidents.
- Camping is limited to 14 days within a 30-day period across the entire Siuslaw National Forest.
Vehicles & parking
- Each campsite is limited to 2 vehicles.
Site types & loops
- Alcohol is prohibited in the off-road riding area.
Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent invasive species.
