Camping was great, if you have a motorcycle, Quad or side x side this is the place to be... if you are tent Camping you definitely want to get an outside site, hope this helps

We were pleasantly surprised at how respectfully quiet everyone was with the campground around 50% full. The problem is with the host! Upon arrival, the host had 3 different signs. The first one said "HOST ON DUTY", the second one said, "HOST MAKING ROUNDS", the third one said, "CHECK IN WITH THE HOST UPON ARRIVAL". I knocked on the door, hoping that maybe someone was in the trailer. No answer. So we drove thru the campground to see if we could find him to advise we were there and confirm our site # as we didn't print out our reservation. We did not find him anywhere. I knocked on the door again anyway and finally the door opened. It was the host! It was very obvious I woke him up! I nicely told him we were there and he very nastily looked at me and sharply threw his hand out and pointed at the 3 signs!. That was his "Welcome to Horsfall"!!! He confirmed our site, I thanked him and left. When we got to the site, we first had to go around and pick up garbage from the previous campers, including a filthy face mask! The fire pit was not cleaned and tall weeds were everywhere. Whenever we get to a site, we usually have to clean up garbage that hosts have not cleaned up previously.

The camp host there is great. The campground was designed for group camping. I’ve been using it for over a decade. Now, the forest service employees are trying to change the way the campground works and harassing the campers. We will leave if this continues.

Small parking spaces- very close together. I ended up purchasing 3 spaces for myself for the days available and we left two days early since by Friday afternoon it was a zoo with people and equipment packed on like sardines. Very loud and noisy( that was expected) no showers- clean bathrooms.
