Some of the sites didn't have very good privacy from other sites.
Some distant noise from ATVs at nearby Driftwood 2 campground.
The website said not to bring your own firewood in order to not spread pests but that the camp host could sell you firewood. When I asked the host he said he wasn't supposed to sell campers firewood. What are the real rules/recommendations about this?
Nice walking trails at Lagoon and Wax Myrtle.

Excellent late summer campground. Sites are the largest compared to the other two nearby campgrounds, and you can camp pretty much on the edge of the oxbow lake surrounding the grounds if that's your thing. Ocean is 15 minutes away on foot and Siltcoos Lake is 5 minutes away by car. Spotty but existent cell reception. Plumbed toilets.

Bad customer service after online issues and reservations errors. I called to correct them and explained issues and did not refund after corrections made. The campsite has garbage all over and batteries in campfire pit. The host we never available and gas jugs got stolen one last night.

It is a lovely campsite and we had a good time. We had a few problems in that the campsite we selected was not the same one that was portrayed on the map. It was across the street and right next to another large site, so no privacy. The map should be updated. We were able to modify our reservation on the same day and that is a great feature of recreation.gov but of course, we had to drive several miles to get internet service. We were able to select a new campsite that was quite private. The ATVs in the surrounding area were noisy.
