Bathrooms and campsites were clean. Host was friendly.
It would be great if camping at Lagoon included a parking pass for the dunes down the road.
Thanks!

Quiet and comfortable campground. Relaxing walks around lagoon and longer hikes available from campground through Waxmyrtle campground across the street and out to the beach. Site was spacious and private. It is next to the path around the lagoon, so expect foot traffic past back of site, but large bushes make it feel private anyway.

Campground was amazing! Very clean and quiet. The caretaker was very helpful, kept us from setting up our tent in a flooding zone in the site we chose. Surrounded by water and very close to the ocean.

The best thing about the Lagoon Campground is its old-school campground level of “service” which keeps all the big RV sh*t (full of people expecting hot showers, dump stations and electrical hookups) far away, where they belong. DON’T change this. In fact, make things even more “primitive” and charge less.

Beautiful campground. I was disappointed and shocked that the federal campgrounds do not honor Military National Park Passes. These people have served their country and can’t get a break for their camp sites?
