What Guests Are Saying
Wild Mare Horse Camp has a lovely location and benefits from restrictions on ATVs, which helps create a more peaceful environment for horse enthusiasts. However, cleanliness issues, particularly with bathrooms and stalls, and the presence of non-horse campers detract from the experience. Additionally, mosquito problems and noise from dogs can impact visitors' enjoyment, but many express a desire to return despite these challenges.

Our group has been using the Wild Mare campgrounds for about 8 years now. We love the facility with the horse stables and easy access to take the horses on a trail ride to the beach. The facility is well maintained and hassle free.

Our corrals were in a hole because of poop scooping and the sand was never replaced, so they filled up with water when it rained. We told a ranger this and he was interested and wrote it down. Also the first 2 spots were taken up by people in cars. Another park guy said they pay so they ignore them but if the place was full I would think this would be a problem. The place was clean and the rides were fun although a little wet because we went while it was raining. Nice campground.

The camp areas and bathroom was well maintained but when we got there someone was in the spot we reserved and we could not find a camp host to help us we ended up on hold on the phone for a long time and we ended up just camping in our friends site.
