Susan Creek Campground is an excellent place. It is well maintained and the sites are kept clean. It has large campsites with shade that are well defined. Water and trash receptacles axcess is convenient to all campers. It has great clean bathrooms (flush toilets!) and showers that are kept in excellent condition. Plenty of hot water for showering or just washing up. Firewood is available for sale which is dry and burns well. Camp hosts are very nice and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. It is a reservation only campground but definitely worth making a reservation for. You can fall asleep to the sound of the Umpqua river. Highly recommend!

Susan Creek Campground is an excellent place. It is well maintained and the sites are kept clean. It has large campsites with shade that are well defined. Water and trash receptacles axcess is convenient to all campers. It has great clean bathrooms (flush toilets!) and showers that are kept in excellent condition. Plenty of hot water for showering or just washing up. Firewood is available for sale which is dry and burns well. Camp hosts are very nice and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. I do not want to say how lovely the campground is. I want to keep it to myself. The hosts were very nice and the campground was spotless. Reservations were easy and appreciated. It is near the river so mind those mosquitos. There were plenty. Note that the area around the campground was heavily damaged in 2022, including Susan Creek Falls across the why and for miles in all directions. I would be a drive to get to unscorched recreation.

This is a wonderful campground with great hosts! It is very clean. The hot showers are greatly appreciated. Well worth the $20. Access to site 16 is a bit tight with a 20 foot trailer. Doable, but tight.

The campground is beautiful. We've visited the last 3 years and plan to return next year. The hosts are friendly and run a tight ship. The place is immaculately maintained - spotless restrooms, showers, grounds, and fire grates. They have even started a recycling program! Definitely a favorite place to camp.
We are whitewater kayakers. The North Umpqua is a wonderful Class III river. We can takeout for one of the runs and walk to our campsite.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
