Susan Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. One of the cleanest campgrounds I’ve stayed at. So nice and well kept, good job BLM.

I loved this campground! I was a solo female camper and it felt very safe. The campsite was wonderful, nice showers, drinking water close by, neighbors were quiet and respectfully kept to themselves, and I could hear the river all night.

During the month of October 2023 we visited SUSAN CREEK CAMPGROUND BLM on and off several times for a total of 14 days approximately. We have been visiting SUSAN CREEK CAMPGROUND for a period of 20 years. It is a gem in the Oregon Cascades and without a doubt probably, our favorite place to stay. Even though at this time, SUSAN CREEK CAMPGROUND is surrounded by burned forest land, which ends a few miles up the highway 138; this did not, and the rain that accompanied us on our trip to SUSAN CREEK did not ruin the experience.
Without a doubt, hands-down, and deserves total acknowledgment, are the efforts, extremely outgoing, and highly notable efforts of our hosts; Victor and Cresta. We made reservations on Recreation.gov.
Cresta & Victor are both very very nice people. They are both very well educated very friendly and very outgoing. They also both observe everyone’s privacy. The restrooms were always perfectly clean and smelled very good. The showers were always clean. The water was always very hot. As all who have been to SUSAN CREEK know this is a hands-down, SUSAN CREEK has a famous reputation for this.
I had noticed that each day, almost like clockwork in the morning. Victor and Cresta would be going from campsite to campsite in the same routine, raking blowing cleaning up after campers and working extremely methodically and highly Organized Way, Cresta would even Rake, artistic type patterns with her rake at the campsite rapidly and move on. I had many fine enjoyable conversations with Victor & Cresta. I am very much hoping to see them next year as our host at SUSAN CREEK CAMPGROUND.
