Susan Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites, clean facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the serene atmosphere, spacious campsites, and excellent access to the Umpqua River for various outdoor activities. However, there were concerns about recent health issues related to water contamination and the absence of firewood sales, which disappointed some campers.

No phone service here. The on-site phone doesn't work. Host can't accept payment. Why not use the payment dropbox already at the park. Lovely park, beautifully maintained, but we hate the check-in process.

Susan Creek CG is a small, but beautiful BLM campground nestled against the Umqua River. I stayed enroute and on my return trip. The campsites are clean and well designed. There are flushing toilets and showers for campers to enjoy. There camp host was very helpful.
The reason I gave a 4 star rating is online reservations are required and work great if you have cell coverage and don't try booking on the day of travel. The area has very spotty cell coverage, which makes it impossible to make last minute reservations. I took the risk to drive there without a reservation and found a space and paid cash.

Susan Creek is one of the most beautiful BLM campgrounds I’ve ever been to in my life and I’ve been to a lot. The campsites are immaculate. The facilities are clean and well taken care of the camp host was as sweet as I’ve ever come across. It’s just such a beautiful place to be along the north on River. Especially in the fall when the colors are changing, it’s unbelievably beautiful.

Love this campground, has spaces big enough for my trailer and truck to fit nicely into out camp spot, and having a full bathroom with showers is a nice bonus!

Susan Creek is a gem of a campground. Meticulously tended and loved. The sites are beautiful with huge trees and the N Umpqua running through it.
