What Guests Are Saying

Lepage Park is appreciated for its friendly staff, clean facilities, and beautiful waterfront location near the John Day and Columbia rivers, making it a great stop for travelers. Many guests noted the park's well-maintained sites and good fishing opportunities, though some expressed disappointment with the restroom cleanliness and limited amenities, particularly for RV campers. While windiness and occasional utility issues were mentioned, the overall experience was positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Easy check in. Nice clean park, well maintained. I like the paved pull through sites with water and electric. Mine around a bugs due to proximity to the water. The swimming area was nice although with the warm still water there was a lot of algae and seaweed in the swim area.

It's been too many years that the fish station isn't usable. Also we had our water shut off for 24hrs. Just seems like we are paying the same price without the amenities.

Surprisingly not as noisy nor as windy as expected (wind on the Columbia was 30 mph). Very clean. The pull thru riverfront sites are quite spacious. Other sites fairly close together.

Being on the waterfront is the best part, the check in crew is always very kind & helpful.

I wasn’t overly fond of the park volunteer this time, someone not in the check in booth. In the past they have always been friendly & easy going but this time seemed very intent on rule enforcement.

The bathrooms are destroyed. The “it’s only as clean as the person before you” comment on their page is garbage. It hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Wads of tissue, bandaids, hair and soap grime clogging the drain in the shower. No where to hang your clean dry stuff. The park managers ride peoples back about the dogs but pay no attention to cleanliness of the bathrooms and park it’s self. Pretty disappointed over all.
