Lovely time, Be sure to remember to bring firewood if you're camping in the winter!

Cozy spot to have a White Christmas! If you are staying in the colder seasons, bring more firewood than you think you’ll need. Lovely three mile walk around the lake, and several hiking/snowshoeing spots less than a 20 min drive away.

The yurts were really nice and we even got snow when we were here. The host left wood at the door for us before we checked in which was greatly appreciated as what we brought wouldn't have lasted us both nights in the wood stove

The wood stove is too small to effectively heat the yurt on a cold night. We always kept our down coats on. If you know this before you go though, you can adjust accordingly. Also make sure you bring short logs (10" or less long).

We enjoyed 2 bug free nights in our large campsite #7. We were surrounded by RV's and found the fellow campers mostly quiet. This campsite is next to a group camp and was noisy till after 11. But the most unpleasant part of this trip was having constant commercial truck traffic from highway 20 nearby. We had to use earplugs all night.
We loved the access to the lake for our kayaks and the lake trail was really nice.

No water and the camp host wasn't selling wood, even though it was available.
