Nice spot and we had a very nice time. Generous campsites. It was a bit disappointing to have so many of the nice spots tied up by people who chose to not show up. Also, the trash cans were ridiculously full and stinky the whole time we were there... 4 days.

Pleasant camping area with a beautiful lake! Easy no trail hiking on roadways-little to no traffic. Great stop for a night or a few days.

Overall, the campsite was well maintained and the camp host polite and attentive. The real bummer is a group of addicts set up next to us. Traffic kept rolling through, stopping at their site into the late hours (past 10PM)... cars that seemed to know where the site was, but didn't stay. We decided to leave that night and head home rather than stay our last night to avoid being kept awake all night. Since we live in Sisters, this was an easy option for us. I will stay again for sure, but do be warned that because of the camps proximity to HWY 20 and 126, this camp can be a good spot for folks who are dependent on access to the highway and the town of Sisters where camping is slightly more than an incidental holiday activity. Now, that doesn't mean inherently "bad" people are staying here. No way. Everyone was having fun, swimming, boating. Good family stuff. It's just that we ended up next to people dealing drugs and the ensuing traffic associated with that kind of activity. Can't expect the camp host to get involved. Other than the traffic and the busy activity typical of methamphetamine use (like cleaning/buffing-out the car at 10:30 PM.. while camping) we were aware of, had we been in another site somewhere removed from the tweeker activity, our stay would have been flawless.

The Manager, and Camp host were both incredibly RUDE!!!! We asked about unused camp sites that and both the manager and camp host were rude and refused to see if reservations had been cancelled. The camp host was a JERK!! That guy needs to be fired. Shame on you for allowing such a POS to be the face of your camp ground.
Also we went to Scout Lake for the day. There are No Dog signs posted EVERYWHERE and there we’re dogs everywhere! Who monitors this??? I don’t appreciate people’s dogs walking on my towels and blankets while I’m swimming. And dog shit everywhere! We boarded our dogs for the day. because of the signs. Hold people accountable!!! Get control of your camp and recreation areas!

Not five stars this time bc of interuption of water service. One of our favorite camp grounds. Almost all sites are shaded. 4 mile loop trail around lake is excellent and heavily used.

Great and clean campground. Only downgrading because the water system went out while we were there.
