No available water. Did not get email regarding water until I had left home. Very disappointed.

Nice campground. Need better site descriptions. My 28 ft trailer and pickup would not come close to fitting the site I reserved based on site descriptions. Fortunatly, there was another site open for my dates that was adequate

No fish biting, apparently we must have caught them all back in the 00’s. Water is cold. No OHV’s permitted. If you are from out of state don’t waste your time driving here, the campground is full (of Oregonians). ✌🏻

The yurt was fantastic. Your has bunks, couch, wood stove, coffee table and table with 2 chairs. Nice ramp to walk up to the door.
The only downside was the water was not turned on yet throughout the campground. The host told us there was only 1 certified person to turn on the water in all Dechutes campgrounds.
Bathrooms we clean and lots of toilet paper.
The boat ramp at Link Creek campground was perfect. Easy access and perfect slope for loading/unloading. Easy parking.

We had never been camping in a yurt before, or in the winter either. Not only do we love camping at Link Creek in the summer, but Wow! What an absolutely beautiful place to be in the winter time. So peaceful, and having a cozy wood stove to warm up to made it that much better. Seeing the stars through the skylight in the roof was the cherry on top of a great experience!

What a fantastic winter getaway! At the time of this review, typing “Link Creek Campground” into Apple Maps will not take you to the correct location. Google Maps, however, will get you to where you need to go. The yurt is very spacious and has a bunk bed (a full mattress on bottom and a twin mattress on top), a futon, a coffee table, and a small dining table with two chairs. The wood stove heats the yurt within an hour, but it is on the smaller side so make sure you bring something to cut down any firewood to fit. The campground bathrooms were unlocked and useable during our stay in mid-December. There is a fire pit and a picnic table right outside the yurt. I have AT&T and there was no service inside the yurt, but I was able to get an occasional bar or two when I stepped outside. The closest town is Sisters which is approximately 20 minutes away and has lots of small businesses and shops if you need any supplies. There is no electricity inside the yurt so don’t forget your own lighting source(s). Overall, this was an amazing spot to spend a few nights and I can’t recommend it enough.

Went at end of November. Got snow. Let me tell ya, with firewood and a yurt this place is beautiful! No matter which way I looked when kayaking on the lake, there was a beautiful view. Recommend you bring firewood no longer than 12in in length or it won't fit in wood stove. This place was magical for us. Plan on going each year. Probably again this year.
Highly recommend!

I spent three nights in a yurt in mid-November. The campground is closed to camping at that time so my only neighbors were the two other yurts. The woodstove was great to have, but it turns out yurts don't hold in heat very well. The highway is just a few hundred feet away so I was expecting traffic noise, but it was even worse than I was anticipating. It's not as bad at night, but otherwise it's a constant presence all day long, even inside the yurt. I recommend hiking the four miles around the lake, which makes for a pleasant outing.

Link Creek is beautiful with the lake, trees, and wild life all at your fingertips. The camp host were so nice and had some lovey conversations. Will definitely be back again.
