What Guests Are Saying
Pioneer Ford Campground is a beautiful, peaceful site with great river access, clean facilities, and respectful guests. Campers appreciate the large, private sites, gorgeous hiking trails, and the serene atmosphere, especially mid-week. While there are occasional issues with water availability and privacy between sites, the friendly camp host and natural surroundings make it a favorite destination for relaxation and fishing.

Our first time to Bull Prairie and it was an amazing one. This camp ground is for a quiet, peaceful camping experience. If you want to party and play loud music (like the only 1 star review) go somewhere else!
Non motorized crafts allowed on the lake. People did swim, but the water is a bit murky and cold.
No showers or garbage service. Pack it in, pack it out.
There is a lot of nature. Which includes bees and mosquitoes. It is a lake afterall, so it's to be expected. Bring the Off and some candles and it's fine.
Pictures are mostly of Site 27, which is right on the water.
There is a 1.25mile paved walking path around the lake.
There is potable water and firewood is available.
The OHV is nearby which you can hear at times during the day.
That's about it. Great place and great camp hosts. Jody and Heather are amazing. They really care about what they are doing. If you have a bad experience with them, it's probably not them.......

We loved it here. A little off the beaten path but that’s part of what makes it special. The fish hatchery just down the road was a hit for our kids!

Beautiful large campsites close to the Metolius River. Very clean. Decent amount of privacy between sites. Camp host was very nice and helpful. Plenty of hiking in the area.
