I love this campground, but don’t stay in site 29. I don’t normally leave reviews but I had to leave this site after a few minutes of walking around it due to the overwhelming smell of sewage. I wish I had been warned, but I wasn’t, I could not stay in this site and had to leave. So, now you know. Lots of other great sites, love the lake.

Great for watercraft-not as much for wading but ok for swimming if it's a hot day. A lot of the water & shoreline near the campsite is shaded.
We came here to see the Perseid meteor shower and were not disappointed!
Only downsides were no campfires and the smoke from nearby forest fires.
Great hosts, clean facilities, and not too many people there.

Campground was cleaner this year than in year's past. Toilet cleaned more often with enough TP as well. Garbage was overloaded, seemed like they needed an extra pickup. Roads still need to be improved and the original "No Picnicing" sign always makes us laugh. Nothing to do with camping, but I think they need to put buoys our along the side of the lake to separate motor boats from kayakers, SUPs as it seemed a little dangerous in the middle of the lake.

Love Suttle Lake, weather was amazing. Love the access to the lake from this site. It was clean and the bathrooms were well maintained.

I loved this campground! The proximity of the lake to the campsites on that side is wonderful, and the sites further away had lots of space to spread out and enjoy the peace of the woods! I feel like the road noise was pretty nonexistent and the silence at night was so wonderful. The camp hosts were so kind and lovely as well- they helped one of our group with some light first aid and looked out for me to make sure I was comfortable being alone once the rest of my friends had to head back into town. Highly recommend!
