This is a lovely campground with many sites with views of Suttle Lake. One of the challenges for our camper van is that many of the sites have slopes, so you need to be prepared with risers/levelers, and access to the trail is often down steps unless you go to the boat landing area. Unfortunately, the water had been unexpectedly turned off due to a water line leak, but we had enough water in our RV tank and a 2-gallon drinking water container so we were OK for our short stay. The pit toilets were well maintained by the camp host.

The site I chose was the easiest to level my RV in my experience so far! Love this park!

We stayed the first night with our RV and then left a tent thereafter, checking back daily and using the beach area to swim, but on the 5th day the host took our tent down, leaving an untrue "Courtesy Notice" stating he hadn't seen anyone for days. I took said notice to the host as indicated (less than 3 hours later, because we were there daily) and was verbally assaulted by the host and his female co-host. I was so shocked and unprepared that alls I could think to say in return is "You can educated without being mean." We packed up our belongings, some of which had been placed by the road by the host(s) later that day as I did not feel comfortable returning, even though we had done nothing wrong. There were many mean things said by these hosts and for absolutely no reason, I'm still completely dumbfounded by the experience. I paid almost $300 for the site and reserved it as soon the 6 month window opened, for my birthday. We left on Tuesday after this experience when instructed that regardless of what I paid, "This is not a day use area," when explaining we were present daily. If you see an old school bus in the host spot, be wary and if you're a female consider having someone with you.
