The camp host kept accusing us of so many different things. He was fine until he noticed that my kids are black and Hispanic. After that he would stop and stare and watch us even at night. Making it uncomfortable to use the bathroom. We would ask for toilet paper and he refused but other sites would ask and he would do it. He is very unprofessional.

Beautiful recreation area. Sites 28-30 are just cut into a wall of blackberry bushes, try not book these sites.

The blue Jays where feasting on all the wild berries at the campground, I'm pretty sure they saw my tent as a target and tried to repaint itπŸ˜„. Take extra tarps or coverings to prevent the bluejays from painting your equipment.

Hosts were amazing. Site was clean. Beautiful location next to the creek. The bathrooms need signs reminding users to put the lid(s) down. We went first week in August, thimbleberries were end of life but there were some red huckleberries, salal, and blackberries available. Oregon grape if that's to your liking. Halfway through, campfires were banned due to fire risk. The nearby trail was gorgeous, going through lush riparian zones and a slight view at the top. Parts of the trail are degraded, so tread with caution. 2.1 miles to summit.

Creek, despite being vicariously low, had several spots deep enough for wading and swimming.

Mosquitoes weren't too bad, but definitely recommend bringing some picardin and Citronella oil.

Our camp host David was so friendly and accommodating. He and his wife were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the campground itself. Cheers to them for making our summer camping safe and family friendly!
