What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Great place to stay. Our campsite was very secluded. Clean bathrooms.

The trail system leaving from the campground and up through the visitor center is one of the best on the coast for hiking in old-growth Sitka Spruce forest. The Cook's Ridge/Gwynn Creek loop is the best hike to see these big trees. The campground is a little old and some of the camping pads need attention. Site 34, in particular, has a dip in the drive that kept us from being able to back our trailer in. But the small size of the pads keep the big rigs out, which means way fewer generators. This is a favorite campground for tents and small trailers. And the access to the rocky coastline is also a big plus here.

We love the forest campsite. Lots of hiking in and around the campground. Loved seeing all the natural features of the coastline.

This is our new favorite campsite. Very clean and well maintained. The camping spots are beautiful and OMG Cape Perpetua is AMAZING! There are quite a few great hiking spots (with phenomenal views) and awesome exploring of tidal pools in Yachats and at Devilβs Churn. We will be back soon!

Beautiful campground but site 26 has no privacy or shade. It appears there used to be tree cover but they came down in a recent storm. It now just seems like the site is crammed between two others. Also, very little space for even a small tent. Many other beautiful sites though, and we still had a great stay!

The setting was magical, the trails to forest and beach close, the camp host was friendly and hospitable, and all the facilities were clean and well tended. I recommend walking to the Giant Spruce and down to Devils Churn. I look forward to returning.

The campground is clean, quiet and beautiful. Great camp host! There are a lot of trails to take you to many sights and awesome views. Make sure to go see the giant Sitka Spruce,, the Spouting Horn, the tide pools, Devils Churn and the lookout from the West Shelter. We are definitely going to make a return trip πβοΈπ.

A variety of hiking trails, picturesque beaches, gorgeous sunsets. Disappointed that the Visitor Center was closed, but I will just have to go back!! Nearby Yachats Brewing was a treat, too!

Camp sire was clean. Quiet. Firewood was dry. No cell service - to me this was a good thing.
Would be nice if reviews included a statement of levelness of site.
