What Guests Are Saying
Dewdrop Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained natural setting with spacious, private sites and excellent access to water activities. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some facilities, particularly the restrooms, could use updates, the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views make it a favored destination for many campers.

Great campground with primitive campsites. We stayed at site 62. This site has lot of privacy and enough tress and shades for hammock.

Dewdrop is a wonderful little campground perfect for families. I love that it is rustic. It should have access to cell phone service in case of emergency though. That is the one draw back of this campground. We are older campers who are in good health but emergencies happen and having to cell service is a problem. A few more sites with electric would also be helpful. The previous hosts Ray and Vonnie kept everything very clean, I understand with Allegheny Site Management they do not want to pay for hosts that are involved with the campers. But there was a host at the front office and the bathrooms were clean. We have been to Buckaloons that has a newer shower and bathroom. It would be nice to see the parks service put some money into this little gem.

Our campsite (012) was beautiful. We were able to pull our kayaks right up to the bank of our site. Restrooms were close by and always clean. We can’t wait to come back.

Dewdrop Campground is great for those visiting Jake's Rocks Mountain Bike Trails. The campground is at the bottom of the trails which makes it convenient for shuttle rides. Swimming was also only a short drive away at the Elijah boat launch.

Staff was very friendly, facilities were clean and not to far from campsite. The campsite itself was not bad just muddy and rocky which made it hard to stake the tent down. When packing back up had to spend some time clean mud from the bottom of the tent because the ground was so damp; you could feel it squishing around under your feet as you walked in the tent. Overall the campground was good with friendly staff and clean facilities.
