What Guests Are Saying
Dewdrop Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained natural setting with spacious, private sites and excellent access to water activities. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some facilities, particularly the restrooms, could use updates, the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views make it a favored destination for many campers.

#74 is a great, secluded campsite with lake access. It was a great place for a much-needed re-charge. I camped during the week in mid-September, so the campground was not busy. Hiking trails in the area were also almost empty of other hikers, which made for a very peaceful few days in nature.
One thing to note: The walk down to the campsite from the designated parking area is steep, so be prepared. I would suggest leaving the heavy gear/coolers/etc. at home unless you are OK with carrying them down (and back up) a steep hill.

Loved this campground and with the road closed pass the campground made this place very quiet of background noise. Great that it has both water and a dump, close to the reservoir, hiking trails, Jake’s Rocks and Warren isn’t far.

Great spot! Access to the water via a small path. We took SUPs and it was awesome! You can access Jack's Rocks from the campground and we rode our mountain bikes. Very well maintained trials. The caretakers were friendly. The bathrooms are pretty basic and "rustic." But it's camping! We'll definitely be back.

I've been coming here since I was 7 years old and it is the most magical place. Having working bathrooms and showers is great when you have kiddos. Each site is isolated enough with lots of foliage that it feels quite private. The stars on a clear night are incredible :)

The location cannot be beat. Beautiful lake with great hiking and biking. Jakes Rocks and Rimrock overlocks are worth the walk.

Recently we stayed at Dew Drop for the second time.
The camp ground is located on the Allegheny River Reservoir tucked into a cove. It has exceptional camping sites for tents, RV’s, and even hammocks if you so choose. Parking on the camp sites is adequate for 2 vehicles.
The camp sites are well maintained and have a fire ring that includes a grill top if you would like to cook over fire or even use charcoal.
You can buy ice and firewood on site. There are other nearby places that do off firewood for sale. You should not bring firewood from outside of the Nat Forest area due to invasive species.
There is flushing restrooms and separate shower rooms. This camp ground is very busy so it is a good idea to bring your own toilet paper. The showers are well used so bring flip flops or other forms of feet protection.
Kayaking, Boating, and other water sports and activities are popular and common. There is many close places in the are to explore while hiking, biking, and just taking scenic drives. Including but not limited to Jakes Rocks overlook and trail system, the Kinzu Dam, The Kinzu Skywalk Bridge and many more trails as well as a beach just a short drive away.
We stayed on site 31. It is a little bit down a hill to set up camp and tent from the parking spots but overall a great choice in our opinion and we will go back to Dew Drop again.

Wonderful stay again tent camping. We have been camping at dewdrop for at least 8 years. The campground employees were pleasant. Most everyone was quiet at 10pm for quiet time. The Allegheny website still says that the bathrooms are closed on the weekends except for the shower restroom. All restrooms were open. We had a wonderful time as always.

Wonderful campground! Sites are far apart and wooded, providing some privacy. We have been camping there for many years and will continue to go back.
