What Guests Are Saying
Kiasutha campground offers a beautiful natural setting with spacious campsites and friendly, helpful staff, making it a favorite among repeat visitors. Many families appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, access to water activities, and the well-maintained grounds, despite some concerns about noise from other campers. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities and campground roads that need attention to enhance the overall experience.

We had a wonderful experience here. The only problem we had was that our fire pit was sitting fully above the ground making it very hard to make a fire and cook on it. The campground was very clean as where the bathrooms.

Beautiful place, too bad the facilities are in such disrepair. Instead of fixing toilets they are removed or covered. The on demand water heaters in the showers must have no mixing valves as my autistic son was burned when the other two showers timed out and he got a rush of scalding hot water.

Large, private sites, separated by trees. You aren't packed in on top of people.

Pros: Wooded, spacious campsites. Located right on the lake with a beach and boat/kayak/jet ski launch access. Well maintained and clean bathrooms and shower houses.
Cons: Site 1 (where we stayed) was very busy with tons of traffic of cars, boats, and campers coming in and out of the campground. Would suggest a deeper site further from the entrance. Went in July - flies were terrible and bite.

I love kiasutha. There’s a great boat launch. A haunted looking playground (we actually call it the haunted playground). There’s some nice waterfront spots. It used to be easy to get spots here. This was the first year I ever saw this campground full. No bears yet this year. Some years there are. We did see a porcupine on one of our trips this summer. It seems that 1/2 of the campers who camp here are polite respectful campers. The other 1/2 are rude loud drunken disrespectful inconsiderate campers. Hopefully you’ll get a spot next to the polite ones. Good luck!
P.s. there is no one here to reinforce quiet time

Please place trash in provided receptacles. Do not burn trash or waste food in the fire ring. This invites wild animals into the campground and no one wants to cook their dinner over your rubbish. |
