What Guests Are Saying
Kiasutha campground offers a beautiful natural setting with spacious campsites and friendly, helpful staff, making it a favorite among repeat visitors. Many families appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, access to water activities, and the well-maintained grounds, despite some concerns about noise from other campers. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities and campground roads that need attention to enhance the overall experience.

Everything was perfect except the rain lol
Site was just as I hoped it would be (matched its picture) and the bathrooms were super clean! I definitely will be back!

We stayed at Kiasutha #32, which is right on the lake. Overall it was an excellent experience. Some things at Kiasutha really need work though and asap! Primarily the bathrooms desperately need fixed and updated. Most of the ladies room bathroom & shower stalls that I encountered do not lock. And of the 3 toilet stalls in the ladies room, one is a urinal? The shower curtains were tissue paper thin and stuck to anyone trying to use them. And what is with having to turn on the hot water from outside of the shower? If showering on your own, you'll have to exit the shower naked and all soaped up at least once so that you can get more hot water to rinse off as it's on a very short timer. And apparently there was still a toilet paper shortage in the men's room, as one day my husband had to donate our emergency roll for the greater good of all the men in need.
While all this sounds awful, the overall experience at the campground was excellent other than the folks next to us that ran their generator all day from 8am until 10pm (despite the no generator until 10am rule we were told at checking in).
The ladies working at the front booth were always friendly and nice to interact with. And they sure did keep those extremely outdated bathrooms very clean.
We also appreciate that ice can be purchased at the front booth and that it is priced competitively.

The park is beautiful. My only complaint is the bathrooms. The womens' bathroom closest to our site was out of order for most of our stay. Bathrooms in general badly need an update & more stalls need to be added.

Bathrooms were old and dirty. Zero privacy between sites. Loud, several people with generators. Staff was friendly though and the swimming area was nice. Those restrooms were much cleaner than the ones in the campground.

Campsite is great but our original site could not realistically fit our camper. We switched to a pull through site which after 2 straight days of rain was a soupy mess!

I’m trying really hard to love the Allegheny site management locations. It’s peaceful and relaxing for the most part. The gypsy moth caterpillars were a little much for my daughter and I, it seemed they were on EVERYTHING. We had site 38, which was actually a pretty nice site. Unfortunately it shares lake space with site 35, and when we arrived at 4 on Friday our neighbor had already set all of his stuff down there, and wasn’t very open to sharing it. So if you want your own lakefront site, don’t get 38 or 33. It seems the low cost of camping here attracts a different type.

campground is lovely, shaded, large spots. The workers are not friendly but once you check in the first time, you don't have to worry about that.

Although the area has much to offer, I was very disappointed in this campground. The grass in our spot had not been recently cut, and the shower house was really the worst I've ever experienced in all my years of camping. Not only was it in dire need of refurbishing, but it was also often not clean. Not a great time.
