What Guests Are Saying
Kiasutha campground offers a beautiful natural setting with spacious campsites and friendly, helpful staff, making it a favorite among repeat visitors. Many families appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, access to water activities, and the well-maintained grounds, despite some concerns about noise from other campers. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities and campground roads that need attention to enhance the overall experience.

We had a great 10 day stay. Camp hosts were exceptional and the weather could not have been better. The only thing that could have been better is the shower house and bathrooms could use some TLC.

We were very happy to find the restrooms very clean and stocked this year. The mounted soap dispensers were a great added feature.

I booked these two sites months ago to assure our stay with the intent of possibly getting a "first-come-first-served" site. I left the house at six am, got there at ten, saw the site was open and tried to exchange it. I was told it was "reserved". WTF!
They said it was a new policy. When I asked to see a new map of the sites, it still showed it as First-come-first served.
We were there four days and no one ever used the site.
RULES FOR THEE, BUT NOT FOR ME.

I booked a tent area. The place and the reviews was awesome. Few improvements can be done ,Hot water is not available in washrooms and showers. There is only one Shower room and toilet for the entire camp area. It would be great if you can provide at least 2. I'm not sure if any information brochures available at the check in office. There were none outside. If you could provide information on hiking trails and visiting places near by that would be great.

No water, clogged and closed restrooms for the half of Memorial weekend! This was our first, and I'm afraid - the last experience at Kiasutha campground, the worst camping we ever had. We booked 2 campsites 4 nights for the Memorial weekend May 2022 with a plan to stay through Tuesday.
Troubles started on Sunday morning with water disappeared from all pumps and facilities. As a result all the restrooms clogged pretty soon and toilets became to appear as mounds of poop. Then all restrooms and showers were closed. The water brown dirty because of rust and thus completely not useable appeared in pumps only on Monday evening. All facilities including restrooms stayed closed through the whole rest of the weekend and Tuesday. The campground hosts seem to disappear together with water.
And now the funniest part - when I requested a refund for the half of the stay which was definitely spoiled and ruined by this trouble I got an approval for a ridiculous amount of only $20 which is only one night stay for one site. I wonder if the owner indeed considers that the payment they collect is only for the place and not working facilities is just a very small nuisance? While it may be tolerable for campers, for us living in tents this was an absolutely horrible experience.
In general it seems that the whole campground is neglected and the owner doesn't care if it has working facilities, definitely not prepared for a hot season start with its well failed.
So beware and stay off of this campground unless you want your time off to be ruined.

Interior camp roads really dusty so be prepped for a thin film on everything. A good layer of tar and chip would make this place amazing. Boat launch, beach access and facilities great for a weekend trip.

The showers were horrible! Long wait for the hot water to reach the shower then did not last long enough to finish a 5 minute shower. The facility is old and in disrepair. On the other hand our camp site was very nice.
