The campground is one of our favorites. The duck pond is perfect for kayaking. The lake is beautiful, and it is enjoyable to kayak there through the week when the lake isn't as busy with large boats. The main road has been paved and is a much appreciated update.

Absolutely beautiful during mid-July. If you want the water to be quieter, recommend going during the week. Water sports and towing for wakeboarding are huge during the weekend.
Fishing is great. Bass are good, catfish, and black crappie.

The rest rooms need to be updated. The first loop that we were in had porta johns that were only cleaned out once in a week. Restroom was suppose to be finished the beginning of June and were no where near done by the end of June. Saw one person work on it for one day in a week and even then stood around talking most of the time.
the campground host in our loop was very rude.
