This campground is densely populated with sites and has little privacy. Noisy neighbors made for a frustrating stay. Temporary bathroom situation including mobile showers and port-a-potties wasn't ideal.

We knew we would be arriving late so we tried to call ahead to let the rangers/staff know, but couldn't get anyone on the phone. We left a message and asked for a callback. Never got one. When we arrived, the area was flooded (9 feet above normal), so the campground was flooded. They had moved everyone to higher ground so we were packed in like sardines. If it weren't for some very nice folks at the campground, we probably wouldn't have been able to get our rig in the campsite because a.) it was SUPER dark, b.) the road we were on was underwater just past our site and we couldn't get a good position to back in and c.) our site was supposedly big enough for our 37 foot Class A, but it was up on a hill, with a very narrow driveway, at a really weird angle and required multiple eyes helping us get backed in. I am very thankful for the other campers that helped us out. The campground staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. My husband went to check us in the next morning and they were very rude to him about getting there so late. He told them we had tried to call and left a message, and they didn't seem to care. The high water caused a lot of excitement among the kids at the campground, and I totally get that, but if you've ever been in a flooded area, you know the dangers of what could be hiding in the water, not to mention actual electric hookups for RVs being underwater. Not one single person cared that these kids were playing on actual flooded campsites. I'm sure, under different circumstances, it would have been better, but our experience was NOT a good one.

Camped beside a homeless couple who kept us up all night. Had to switch sites we booked in January because of construction. Very disappointing this year.

I wish I would have known before going to the campground that the majority of the campground was closed. We were not able to go to the beach and the noise from the road work was awful. Not good business to at least people know that this was going on so that we could decide whether to stay or not.

The park was flooded and no one told us about all of the problems. The access road was closed and we had to drive through narrow, muddy temp road through the woods. All of the bath housed were closed (because of a line break) and the temp outhouses were full and needed pumped out badly. The dump station was closed and the had up use a man hole in the boat launch area. The the access panel was higher than our outlet on our camper and as you may well know, water (sewage) dose not flow uphill...
If he had known about of these problems, we would not have made the long drive there...
