Very nice campground the site was awesome but the only thing that bothered us was the poor cell phone and internet signals that kept going in and out continuously. Great if you want to be off the grid.

We camped in site 7 the RV area was narrow. There is a little hill behind the camper for the fire ring and picnic table. Also there are two trails that people were walking or biking through our site

If you have kids, PLEASE, PLEASE teach them how to read SIGNS before they walk onto a pier/dock.
I am talking about Bench Loop where you can walk down to the pier/dock, there is a sign that says the following:
PROHIBITED, SUNBATHING, WADING, FISHING AND SWIMMING.
God forbid if you child does fish off the pier/dock and falls into the water and doesn't know how to swim or does damage to someone's boat, that could cause you to be sued.

Sometimes it's nice to get away from the "electronics world", but I really feel a cell tower near this campground would make it the ideal place to stay. I DO realize it isn't the responsibility of the campground to provide this, but I'm rating my overall experience. The hosts are great, the sites are plenty big, lots of hiking area, dog walking area, wildlife to enjoy, among other things. It's not a huge party campground so there's plenty of peace and quiet. We enjoy it there and will return. Lots of friends and family as it's in the area we call home.

Beautiful lake with excellent fishing and the campground in general is well maintained. However, there is no comparison between the PA state parks bathrooms and shower houses to US Army Corps of Engineers parks. Have been visiting several of the state parks around north central Pa over the years camping with the family and have been very impressed by the updated modern bathrooms in the state parks. I realize the parks probably don't make a lot of money from the campground fees but the federal parks would do much better to follow the example of the state parks and put some money into updating the bathrooms. They are very old, pit toilets suffice but should be updated if they want to complete with the state parks. Loved the park overall though and the lake, I would return but family not so much just do to the outdated bathrooms.
