We always enjoy our visits to Tompkins campground! The campground and lake are small enough to be quiet and enjoyable for us. The camp hosts are always kind and helpful.

Lovely clean campground with plenty to do! Originally we were hoping to make reservations at Watkins Glen State Park, but they were full. It really was a stroke of luck because this campground and it’s sites were picture perfect, and it was a hop, skip, and a jump away from the hustle and bustle of The Watkins Glen area. We were still able to make the short drive to see the Watkins Glen gorge, and return to a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing campground to unwind from our journeys! We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Tompkins Campground COE. Let's get the negative out of the way. Our site was a little hard to get into. It was plenty big but had a steep upward grade into the site. We didn't drag though. On the plus side it was a huge site, our 42' 5th-wheel fit with room to spare. The park itself is beautiful and in a great setting in northern PA. We didn't use the restrooms or shower so we can't comment on them but we heard from family that they were clean.
For those coming in with big rigs we recommend coming in from the PA side and driving the long way around the park. Also, pay attention to the site size, not all will accommodate big RVs. T-Mobile worked somewhat. ATT and Verizon not so much.

To many dogs, barking all the time. People come to rest and relax, get away from their daily grind. Don't want to hear dogs barking constantly.
