What Guests Are Saying
Tompkins Campground offers spacious, clean sites with friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake for paddling, and well-maintained bathrooms contribute to a positive experience. While some areas could benefit from upgrades, many campers appreciate the reasonable prices and the campground's recent extension into the fall season.

Gypsy moth infestation ruined the camping. We were told by volunteers that the government won't spend the money to spray for them. It is a shame because we liked the full service sites better than Ives Run. Campers should be notified if something like this is happening so cancellations can be make if desired.

Loved everything about this campground! Only reason we didn’t give the highest rating was because a map of the campground at check in would have been helpful for finding our campsite.
We will definitely return!!

Got there just before the Gypsy moth came. We only seen a few. Last week of May. But they were just starting to show. Its a shame that they can't spray on Federal land like they do on state land. Ives Run had tape on all the trees in the park to try to stop the spread. Don't know if it will help.
