Tompkins Campground offers spacious, clean sites with friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake for paddling, and well-maintained bathrooms contribute to a positive experience. Our family went camping at the hike-in sites in August (12 of us). The sites were beautiful. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to stay an extra day after the kids and grandkids left. Can't wait to go again this year!

No staff onsite. Site was flooded. Bathroom shower drain clogged so water overflowed all over the bathroom.

Reserve your spot a year in advance if you want certain sites. This campground had so much promise and potential but was passed over for Ives Run just south of here.
This is a quiet place that has nice sites but is getting run down from neglect.
We have been going here since 1980 and with just a little money it would be as nice now as it was then.
If you can get a good site I recommend it.
