Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

We love camping here. We were there 6 days , which included a weekend , and it was the fullest we have ever seen!

Kayaking is a must do when here. We also really enjoyed boating this time. This was the first time that we brought our dogs and there was plenty of room for them and areas to be walked. We were in a site with water and electric, no sewer, in the Hickory loop. We recommend bringing an extra long extension cord for your electric and an extra long water hose as hook ups are quite far away. The sites have quite a bit of distance between them which is nice.

very pleasant, quiet and peaceful stay. enjoyed the say except for the hickory tussock moth caterpillar that were all over everything. They have barbs on both ends and can cause severe allergic reactions. I got hives all over my arm from having one on me. Not a complaint just be aware that nature is not always your friend.

We viewed a rattlesnake moving through the park one morning. The ranger responded quickly and professionally relocated the snake. Well done!!!!!!

We always love the park and its hiking trails, disc golf, swimming, friendly campers, the start nights and of course, the peaceful camping. It did not disappoint this year, once again. Very clean camping curious hosts friendly rangers. A perfect 10. Thanks everyone

This is a beautiful lake, and I visit fairly often because it’s convenient and relaxing. Unfortunately, the experience is impacted by the current camp hosts. They are an elderly couple that is consistently abrasive and rude, and nearly everyone I’ve met here has a story about some negative interaction with them. New hosts are badly needed. This should be a place to unwind—not somewhere visitors feel harassed.

Had a wonderful fun filled time with my grandchildren. Been going every year for 12 years. Reservations are a bit confusing, but I get through it. A wonderful park.

I was disappointed that the Camp Store was not open for this camping season.
