What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

We always enjoy Ives Run. It has a peaceful tranquil setting and I usually enjoy weaving outdoors in the fall of the year. We also took a day trip to Corning Museum and gift shop which is always enjoyable. Great camping, perfect weather and leaf changing rounded out our stay!

Nice to have water at most sites but E/W are far from the pad. Sites 113 & 126 are not very level. We had to run a hose and power cord through picnic table.

Large clean sites. Good water pressure, no WiFi but over the air TV was ok. Clean bathrooms. Great campground quite peaceful and relaxing.

Our 1st campground had no electric so we went to Ives Run. Signing up was unlike any other campground. we thought we were signing up for two nights, moving, signing up for 2 nights. On afternoon of the second day we received a rude phone call telling us we had 1/2 hr to get out of our camping spot. We were an hr, away, Frustrated, I tried making a reservation on my phone. The man told me he would check our reservation and call back. A different person called back and he was gracious and so helpful with getting reservation straightened out. The whole trip was a disaster w reservations, moving trailer, no wifi to make reservations, etc. We finally came home a day early. Sad because these campgrounds are usually the best in every way. We had a miserable experience. Would highly recommend revamping your reservation system. It is very confusing.

We loved our stay. The site was nice and the park was lovely.
The camp host was not very nice as we were packing up to leave. She was reminded us that check out was at 3 pm. I thanked her. Then she continued to check her watch an tell me that we only had 15 minutes left. I told her that I understood. Then she proceeded to say that she saw that we still had a fire in our fire pit. I said, "yes". She stated in an unfriendly tone that we would need to put it out. I told her that we would. She treated our friends in the site meet to is in the same manner. It was the first time in all our years of camping that a host was so rude to us. She could have simply kindly reminded us that checkout was at 3 and moved on so we could continue packing and cleaning up. We respect that the hosts work hard and have jobs to do, but we were in the process of packing and leaving and were done by 3 pm and she was rude. The park was not full as it is off season and it was a Monday that we checked out.

What can I say I have been going to Ives Run just about ever since the park has opened. The volunteers that run the park are retired people and the do a wonderful job keeping the park clean and running the campsites and even cutting the grass. You have a very successful formula at Ives Run and I hope you keep it that way.
